The B&O Railroad Museum celebrates Summer Break with its Education Adventure Event, Under the Big Top. This event is themed around the traditional circus trains of years gone by that brought dare devil, thrilling and entertaining acts of the circus to every corner of America. Kids and their families love being adventurous “walking the high-wire,” “taming a lion” or “jumping through flaming hoops.” An abundance of activities include a variety of carnival games and craft station where children can design their very own Big Top art piece.
A circus story will be read each day beginning at 11am. Thursday and Friday, June 28 & 29 everyone may board the B&O’s Mile One Express for a 20 minute round-trip train ride. So come one! Come all! To this topsy-turvy, wildly wacky, fun-filled time!
