In 1939, the BMA presented one of the first major exhibitions in the U.S. to feature African American artists. Nearly 80 years later, the Museum pays tribute to this landmark exhibition with 14 prints and drawings by African American artists who were included in the 1939 show. More

FORCE: UPSETTING RAPE CULTURE

The creative activist collaborative FORCE invites you to add your thoughts to an ongoing public art work. The project shares the issues that matter most to rape and abuse survivors in Baltimore.

The collective will also share the findings from a listening campaign with survivors throughout Baltimore City. More
