WHEN: Sunday, June 17, during open hours of 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Tours are on the hour with the last tour at 3:00 PM.

Baltimore’s oldest colonial house and home to Charles Carroll, Barrister, is holding a Father’s Day Celebration. This event includes a tour focusing on fathers and father figures at Mount Clare, fife and drum performances, and root beer floats in the Mount Clare kitchen.

Sitting high on a hill overlooking downtown Baltimore, Mount Clare Museum House  was built by Charles Carroll, Barrister, in 1760 as a part of a 1,000 acre colonial agricultural-industrial complex.

On this special day, Mount Clare Museum House offers half-priced admission tours for fathers, fathers-in-law, grandfathers, or any other special father-figure in your life. The tour will conclude with light refreshments and an opportunity to speak with a Revolutionary War reenactors about war and weapons in the eighteenth century.
