Baltimore 48-Hour Film Festival

The wild and sleepless weekend in which teams make a movie - write, shoot, and edit - in just 48 hours. On Friday, June 8, they draw their genre from "the cruel hat of fate” and get a character, prop, and line that must be included in their film. 48-hours later, the exhausted and invigorated filmmakers turn their films! Cosmic World of Moondog

For many years, one of the most recognizable figures in New York City was the blind, 6ft 4, Viking helmet-wearing, street musician, Moondog. Far more than a recognizable street busker, Moondog was a genius composer whose visionary work has been championed by the NY Philharmonic, the Kronos Quartet, and Big Brother and the Holding Company. Tonight, Baltimore musicians, including Liz Downing, Anne Watts (of Boister), Mind on Fire, Michael Willis, Brooks Long, and Hanna Olivegren, perform his amazing compositions. Tix & Info
