While the performances for the 2018 Crankie Fest are sold out, our Sunday kids and family workshop still has plenty of space. And at just $5 for kids, it is a great opportunity for young artists to learn the tricks of Crankie making! Join puppeteer Emily Shubert for s short Crankie performance, followed by a hands-on workshop where she teaches young artists how to create miniature Crankies. Rosie Ming, a young Canadian poet, is invited to perform at a poetry festival in Shiraz, Iran, but she’d rather go to Paris. She lives at home with her over-protective Chinese grandparents and has never been anywhere by herself.
