Special Tuesday Night Session Volunteers' Collective

WHEN: June 6, 7 PM (doors open 6:45 PM)
WHERE:
The Red Room at Normals Books and Records, 425 E. 31st Street, Baltimore

You should come play music with us. Every month, the Red Room hosts the Volunteers’ Collective, a free workshop for experimental and improvised music. For those of you who can't make it on a Sunday, we're holding a special Tuesday session, this month. In this cordial, informal setting, we focus on listening and collaboration. Players of all skill levels are encouraged to attend and participate.

We could use anyone who is a…
brass-buzzer            membrane-whacker          tine-tapper
tube-fluter               talk-boxer                       reed-blower
mouth-harper          bucket-dripper                 string-rubber
antenna-waver         invention-builder             party-crasher
gong-spinner           etc. & etc.

...for sublime non-idiomatic improvised music experiences.

Try out a new technique or new instrument in a non-judgemental setting. Meet new and veteran improvisers. Bring a friend. Experience new brain-states.

Elaborate set ups must occur prior to our 7pm start time. Doors will open at 6:45.
