Creative Alliance resident artist Amy Sherald, the first woman to win the National Portrait Gallery’s prestigious Outwin Boochever Award (2016), an artist who is currently featured in the National Museum of African American Art and Culture, and on the cover of Smithsonian Magazine, is showing her work with three other highly renowned Black artists Rozeal, Tim Okamura, and Ebony G. Patterson. Each of these artists tackle stereotypes of race in different ways. All four are rising stars in the international art world. Info

Mike McConnell: Crayons

Mike's grown-up crayon drawings feature whimsical interpretations of Richard Brautigan's book Trout Fishing in America, running videos found at his gym, his childhood dog, and other ramblings from his aging hippy brain. Info
