BRIDGE ENSEMBLE CONCERT THIS FRIDAY TO BENEFIT NEIGHBOR TO NEIGHBOR PROGRAM

David Lang's the little match girl passion
WHEN: Friday, December 30, 8pm (reception to follow) 7:30pm pre-concert talk
WHERE: Epiphany Episcopal Church, 2216 Pot Spring Rd. Timonium, MD

This Friday evening 4 members of The Bridge Ensemble will perform David Lang's rarely-heard Pulitzer Prize-winning work, the little match girl passion, at Epiphany Episcopal Church in Timonium, MD. Led by Guest Conductor Christopher Windle, this is one of the most important works of music written in the last 10 years, and we are very excited to present it to you.

We are offering this concert as a benefit to the Neighbor to Neighbor program, which works to end homelessness in Baltimore. Admission is free, but we hope you will come to support this very worthy cause and give generously to their excellent work.

The story of The Little Match Girl takes place on New Year’s Eve, making this an even more fitting time to perform this work, especially as winter is when the homeless are most at risk and need our help more than ever.
