THE STRAND THEATER ANNOUNCES ACQUISITION OF A NEW HOME!

Following a two-year search for a permanent space and a concerted effort to secure funding, the Strand Theater Company is happy to announce

WE HAVE A NEW HOME!!!

The Strand is moving to the historic Hamilton-Lauraville neighborhood, where a former bank building has just the right attributes to become a home for our thriving company! We look forward to being a part of this vibrant and supportive community, and continuing our mission of amplifying women's voices on stage and off!

The Strand is grateful for the generous support of the Maryland Department of Housing and Community Development, Hamilton-Lauraville Main Street (Richard Marsiglia - President of the Board and Regina Lansinger - Director), and Dian Combs in making this move possible, and to every donor and community member, who played a part in the effort by helping us with their contributions, expertise, and encouragement! Thank you!

We cannot wait to celebrate with you, as the new Strand Theater opens to the public later this year, and unveils its 9th consecutive season!

Please stay tuned!
