SUMMER ARTS CLASSES NOW FORMING @ BALTIMORE SCHOOL FOR THE ARTS

 

Summer Arts Classes Are Forming Now!

Join fellow students from across Baltimore for classes in darkroom photography and artmaking skills, and to build your portfolio with BSA's professional artist/teachers. Open to students of all levels of experience - No audition required!

Summer Studio Courses

Grades 6-12 (please specify)

Session I: Drawing From Sight and Insight

WHEN: July 5-8 & July 11-14, 2016, 9 am-12 pm OR 1 pm-4 pm (choose one)

Students work with observational skills and explore techniques for incorporating those skills into works based on imagination.


Session II: In and Out of My Sketchbook

WHEN: July 18-28 (M-TH), 2016, 9 am-12 pm OR 1 pm-4 pm (choose one)

Students explore alternative imagery and ideas through mixed media(drawing, printmaking, collage and assemblage).

TUITION: $197 per session

Intro to Darkroom Photography
Grades 9-12
WHEN: July 5-8 & July 11-28 (M-Th)

Learn darkroom photography and develop your portfolio.

Students will learn how to operate the 35mm SLR film camera and the fundamental of black and white darkroom printing. Cameras and supplies will be provided.

TUITION: Four week session is $397 per student.

BSA Spring Exhibition Opens this Friday!

Join us at Baltimore School for the Arts to see the work of our current visual arts students. Meet the artists and enjoy refreshments. Exhibition opening is 4-6 pm on April 8, 2016. Segal Gallery/Mark K. Joseph Building. The Spring Exhibition will be open through May 13, 2016. See you soon!
