Full Circle Gallery, in coordination with Jordan Faye Contemporary & THRIVE are pleased to announce, TRUE GRIT, an exhibition to launch Jordan Faye Contemporary's latest program and new exhibition center. Jonathan Hanson, ASMP (American Society of Media Photographers) Baltimore chapter president, curates this collection of works from photographers whose main interest is telling Baltimore's story from a street level view. With the psyche of a blue collar, hard working, hard living town, Baltimore offers a truly unique urban experience, representations of which echo in the conversation, history, lifestyle, and contemporary self-image of its inhabitants. The true grit of this town is in its shear willingness to keep going. Baltimore can be raw; it can be charming; it can be dangerous. It can also be very, very sweet. TRUE GRIT will touch on the narratives and mundanity of life in Charm City rather than the iconic and ballyhooed.

Selected Artists in TRUE GRIT :: Jennifer Bishop, Jim Burger, J.M. Giordano, Jonathan Hanson, Patrick Joust, Brian P. Miller, Natalie Obermaier, John Patterson, Matt Roth, Rebecca Rothey, Noah Scialom, James Singewald, Josh Sinn, David Valle and Bill Weirzalis.

Jordan Faye Contemporary is relocating and expanding to a 3300sq ft space in the Bromo Arts District. Our new home will be in the Maryland Art Place Building at 218 W Saratoga Street on the top floor.

ABOUT JORDAN FAYE CONTEMPORARY
Jordan Faye Contemporary has continued to redefine the role of the gallery, creating exhibitions to meet the specific needs of artists and art enthusiasts in Baltimore. Founded in 2006 as a platform to give emerging artists a wider audience, we champion the work of early to mid-career artists. Through our gallery exhibitions, presenting work at international art fairs, and our new initiative THRIVE (an expanded vision of the Salon Series program); Jordan Faye Contemporary exposes a broader community to the engaging work of dozens of artists. Currently the gallery represents fifteen artists, who now are in various stages in their careers. Our mission is to show work that is not only of contemporary interest but will be of lasting historical significance.
