SUMMER AT THE BALTIMORE SHAKESPEARE FACTORY

MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING

One of William Shakespeare's best known and best loved plays, Much Ado About Nothing finds Shakespeare playing with some of his favorite themes: love, identity, and the absurdity that comes when sparks fly between lovers.

WHEN: July 18 - August 3; Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30 PM, Sundays at 4:00 PM. Pre-show entertainment begins 30 minutes before showtime.
WHERE: Outdoors in the Meadow at Johns Hopkins Evergreen Museum & Library, 4545 North Charles Street
Special performance August 2 at 6:30 PM includes a 9:30pm performance of Measure for Measure.

MEASURE FOR MEASURE

When the Duke of Vienna suddenly leaves town on what he claims is a secret mission, he transfers his power to his deputy, the moralistic Angelo, and the stage is set for the famous bed trick, the head trick, the machinations of the absent Duke, and a cast of unforgettable characters in this most "modern" of all of Shakespeare's plays.
