What if there was a dance music where one drummer played to a dancer…and that dancer’s moves set rhythms? Welcome to the joyous folk dance from the Puerto Rican coast—plena! Los Hijo é Plena (The Sons of Plena) an authentic, 11 piece Puerto Rican band brings bomba and plena folk dance to The Patterson with music, dancing, lessons, and demos. Wear your dancing shoes!
