BACH IN BALTIMORE
Bach In Baltimore's 26th Season of First Sunday Concerts continues

WHEN: Sunday, December 1, at 4 PM
WHERE: Christ Lutheran Church Inner Harbor (701 S. Charles Street).
ADMISSION: Free

This concert will feature J.S. Bach's Cantata 75: Die Elenden sollen essen, with the Bach In Baltimore Choir & Orchestra and professional soloists under the direction of Maestro T. Herbert Dimmock.  The concert will also include organ settings of the famous chorale "Nun komm, der Heiden Heiland" performed by organist Daniel Aune.  This month's Student Voice Exchange guest choir is the Dulaney High School Choir.  Free parking with validation is available in the garage on the southeast corner of E. Lee and Light Streets. (Please note that while this concert is free to the public, Bach In Baltimore is a nonprofit organization and gratefully accepts donations.)

CHICKEN IN THE GRASS
Enjoy a new photographic exhibit in our first floor gallery by Thomas C. Andres, Honorary Research Associate, The New York Botanical Garden. "Chicken in the Grass" is a collection of 20 prints of beautiful chickens, taken at Phoenix Farms, MD. The prints cost $60 each.  The gallery is open during concerts or by appointment (call 410.428.3803).

BOHEMIAN CAVERNS JAZZ ORCHESTRA
WHEN: Friday November 15, 8 PM

A 17-piece big band founded by baritone saxophonist Brad Linde and club owner Omrao Brown. The BCJO, directed by Linde and trumpeter Joe Herrera, presents a variety of music from big band literature and features some of the District’s best musicians on Monday nights at the historic Bohemian Caverns. Music from Ellington, Basie, Strayhorn, Thad Jones, Oliver Nelson, Maria Schneider and originals by band members embrace and challenge the tradition of big band repertoire.

James Weidman & Oleg Kiyerev Quartet
WHEN: Saturday, November 16, 8 & 9:30 PM
James Weidman, Piano; Oleg Kireyev, Saxophone; Harvie S, Bass; Steve Williams, Drums

James Weidman and Oleg Kireyev quartet unites jazz noblemen, known for their mastery and unique music experience — James Weidman, Oleg Kireyev, Harvie S and Steve Williams. For the past five years James and Harvie have performed together in largely duo settings; Steve Williams recently joined the group to make it a threesome. The maestros create first-rate modern jazz executed with the good taste and depth that have characterized these three musicians thus far. June, 2013 the is going to be joined by a Russian saxophone player Oleg Kireyev, who's become a distinct success on the US scene and contributed to the band’s original repertory by composing several pieces.
