Sometime in his or her high school career, your student will read “Macbeth.” What a treat to take him or her to see the play performed on state…not just read the words on the page. As a former high school English teacher, seeing a Shakespeare play production will change the way your child views the Bard and can help his or her grade in English class:

WHEN: Friday, 9/6 at 7:30 PM and Saturday (9/7) at 8:00 PM
WHERE: on the Olney Theatre Center Historic Stage, 2001 Olney-Sandy Springs Road, Olney, MD

For an ambitious couple gripped with murderous thoughts, reality proves to be elastic. Witches, floating daggers, moving forests, and blood that refuses to wash away—who can tell what is real and what is imagined? Shakespeare's twisted tale examines the brutal consequences of unchecked ambition.
