You’ve seen them perform in the ruins of an antebellum girls’ school, an old carriage house, in public parks— they’ve even been known to perform in jail! Chesapeake Shakespeare Company is no stranger to performing in unique spaces and this winter follows suit as you get the opportunity to see them perform in a repurposed dairy barn. Plus, enjoy lively CSC-led discussions in Ellicott City, Baltimore, and Annapolis over the next three weeks.

William Shakespeare’s offbeat comedy will receive a modern twist as director Patrick Kilpatrick transports the setting to the bodacious early 1990s.
This contemporary treatment of Two Gents likens the young, arrogant, and rich characters Proteus and Valentine to many other notorious 90's headline-makers such as the Menendez Brothers and William Kennedy Smith. Audiences will be entertained as these two characters move through their privileged lives with reckless abandon.
This production includes CSC Resident Artists Vince Eisensen (Proteus), James Jager (Valentine), Ty Hallmark (Sylvia), and newcomer Megan Dominy (Julia) as well as CSC Company Members Greg Burgess, Jose Guzman, Jonas David Grey, Jenny Leopold, Frank B. Moorman, and Michael P. Sullivan.
