CENTERSTAGE YOUNG PLAYWRIGHTS FESTIVAL NOW ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS THROUGH FEB. 8, 2013

ypf now accepting applications

First created in 1985, the Young Playwrights Festival is one of CENTERSTAGE's longest-running educational programs.

The program encourages playwriting submissions from up-and-coming theater makers throughout the state, grades K-12.

This initial brush with success can set students on a lifelong path: Juliana Avery, a Young Playwrights Festival honoree in 2002, has gone on to pursue a career in theater, and recently had the chance to see her words come alive once more at CENTERSTAGE when she was asked to be a contributor to My America.

The 2013 Young Playwrights Festival is now accepting submissions through February 8, 2013!
