familyThis Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award winning musical took Broadway in a whole new direction in 2009. It is an emotional powerhouse that focuses on a family dealing with the effects of mental illness.

The pop rock score is handled deftly by the voices of a stellar cast: Shannon Wollman, Darren McDonnell, Tom Burns, Chris Jehnert, Julia Capizzi and Jim Baxter. Douglas Lawyer provides the music direction.

Next to Normal is one of the most produced new musicals across the country. It is devastatingly realistic; it touches the lives of all who have dealt with mental illness themselves or with loved ones.  Due to subject matter, it is recommended for mature audiences only.

Phone Reservations Not Accepted

Telephone reservations are no longer accepted by the Vagabonds. They will attempt to return calls left on the Theatre voice mail during box office hours, to get your payment information (credit cards are accepted). Remember, the box office is open only on performance dates. While tickets are usually available for most performances, if they cannot reach you, or you do not wish to secure your tickets with a credit card, they cannot hold tickets when paying customers are waiting. Tickets remain on sale on line right up to curtain time.

If you wish confirmed reservations, please purchase them on line.

Call 410.563.9135 during box office hours (beginning two hours before each performance) if you prefer to have a box office representative take your credit card order by phone.
