The Cedar Walton Quartet features Cedar Walton on piano, Vincent Herring on saxophone, David Williams on bass, and George Fludas on drums.
A 2010 NEA Jazz Master, hard bop pianist Cedar Walton has been compelling jazz fans for nearly 60 years. He is known for his versatility, offering a funky touch with a coherent melodic sense. The long list of legends he has played with includes John Coltrane, Max Roach, and Art Blakely. Now a legend himself, Walton presents a quartet of jazz's finest.
