Artistic Director is Baltimore-based artist Laure Drogoul. Working with the community and guest artists, Drogoul creates glowing lanterns on the Boat Lake, video projections to light up the park's Ice Skating rink bubble, and artist performances and installations all along the Parade Route. All are welcome to dress in costume, make lanterns, then carry them in the community-created Parade. There is a contest for best costume and lantern. the Parade from anywhere along the route.

After the kids are in bed, come out for Glow Ball, our first Halloween Parade AFTER-PARTY! This mad costume party/dance fest will feature many of the bands in the Parade and plenty of "Lantini" cocktails at the Creative Alliance. Tix for Glow Ball benefit the Parade. (Festival & Parade line up at Pulaski Monument, Eastern & Linwood Aves, Patterson Park Baltimore.) FREE. Glow Ball is a ticketed adult party until 2 AM at the Creative Alliance after The Parade.

Creative Alliance invites the community to drop off clean plastic bottles at 3134 Eastern Ave, Baltimore, MD 21224. For tickets to Glow Ball and information about a free lantern workshop on Friday October 19 at the Creative Alliance, visit
