A BUSY JUNE @ BALTIMORE CLAYWORKS

BALTIMORE CLAYWORKS' 16TH ANNUAL STUDENT EXHIBITION

OPEN AND FREE TO THE PUBLIC

Showcased will be wheel-thrown functional ware, hand-built sculpture and figures created by children and adults. A variety of finishing techniques are employed; high and low-fire glazes, wood, salt and raku firing. All work has been created by beginner and advanced student artists at our Mt Washington classrooms and satellite studios at Jubilee Art Center, Zeta Center and Tuerk House.

HUEY-MIN TEO
INTERNATIONAL EXCHANGE PROGRAM ARTIST

In the solo gallery, Huey-Min Teo will be exhibiting the work she has produced while working in the Clayworks studio as an exchange artist from Tainan National University of the Arts. Huey-Min came to us in February 2011 and has created a series of wood fired and gas fired ceramic vessels.

Seconds Sale Preview Party! Enjoy hors d'oeuvres, desserts and wine while you shop amongst shelves upon shelves of beautiful ceramics handcrafted by artists. You'll have first pick from hundreds of handmade pottery, sculpture, and ceramic objects before it opens up to the public on Saturday.

ADMISSION: FREE AND OPEN TO THE PUBLIC

CLAY ENTHUSIASTS: A DEDICATED, PRIVATE WORK SPACE IS COMING SOON!

Springboard is a non-juried open studio program providing a communal space for ceramic artists at any skill level to work side by side. The program provides a dedicated studio with access to our classroom equipment and facilities.

We are accepting donations of work for our Seconds Sale. All proceeds go back into the Clayworks' studio to maintain or buy new equipment. Donations are tax deductible.
