Cut, grind, foil and solder a decorative piece for your garden in this 4-hour class w/ Highlandtown original, Joe Burk! A self-taught stained glass artist since 1973, Joe takes great pride in building models, as demonstrated in his award winning Tiffany-inspired lamp and to-scale bugeye boat.
Learn how to light and shoot green screen and actor/s, then key out the actors using Keylight in After Effects. Finally learn how to composite the keyed actors with both still and video backgrounds. Herron is the winner of many awards including the Cine Golden Eagle for his short visual effects-heavy movies. You will use a portable green screen set up that you can make yourself from pvc pipe as well as do it yourself CFL lights that are cheap to make and use. We will be shooting with a Canon T2i DSLR camera.

Got a story you want to tell? Learn how to make it into a short movie, from start to finish, in this boot camp production workshop with Goucher Professor, filmmaker, and writer Nsenga Burton. Participants will write, produce, edit and screen five-minute short films. The film can fall under a number of genres including experimental, documentary, fiction or non-fiction. Participants wanting to adapt a story to a screenplay should bring the completed story in electronic form (thumb drive).
