WHEN: January 27 to February 3, 2012
WHERE:
Located in Station North.

Featuring painting, sculpture, installation
and video art, as well as dance, theatrical and musical performances

In the upcoming exhibition Nomad Gallery presents Nowhere Place, emerging artists conceptually and formally consider places and spaces both real and imagined.

The Nomad Gallery curates public art performances and installations in once empty storefronts and other abandoned spaces. In these spaces, while the building is in transition between owners, the gallery temporarily sets up pop up exhibitions.

Through the partnership of artists and building owners, they create low budget, DIY galleries that have the ability to pop up all over the city and tap into the potential of creative Baltimore thinkers and entrepreneurs.

The goal of Nomad is to provide exposure for emerging artists, to connect with many different neighborhoods, and to promote the arts in unexpected locations.
