On the eve of All Hallows’ Eve, Bob Friedman (Mambo Combo, Shameless Mooks) gathers a who’s who of alt-country, blues and folk music players to dig a 6’ grave and fill it with generations of songs about murder and mayhem.

Neo-Appalachian stars of the underground—Walker & Jay, Piedmont blues mistress Eleanor Ellis, master bluegrass fiddler Jon Glik (Del McCoury, David Grisman), blues slide player Rick Franklin, steel player Randy with vocalist, dulcimer-playing wife Elizabeth in the Austin Harp Family and the irrepressible Tom Chalkley on harmonica n' vocals.

They have been rehearsing and sharing songs these amazing old time songs. Folks will be sitting in with each other, and Bob's recordings already sound awesome!

The lyrics are dark, fabulous and graphic so if you aren't quite in the Halloween mood tunes about pulling bodies out of the river with fishing poles and making fiddle pegs out of Little Sadie's finger bones should really get you in the right place!

Maybe best to wear some black, kinda steam punk style attire!? Or maybe some deep RED!
