FALL CLASSES MAKE THEIR DEBUT @ EVERYMAN THEATRE

Throughout the year, Everyman Theatre offers a variety of classes and workshops for teens, adults, corporate professionals and professional theater artists. Make sure you're a member of the Everyman Email Club for the latest class announcements!

FALL CLASSES

  • Beginning Acting (Ages 18+)
    WHEN: August 23 to September 27 (Tuesdays, from 6:30 PM to 9 PM)
    WHERE:
    St. Mary's Outreach Center, 3900 Roland Avenue, Baltimore
    INSTRUCTOR: Resident Company Member Bruce Nelson

    This introductory course on character development will teach actors how to create clear and dynamic characters through understanding the importance and complexity of character motivation, playing strong objectives and script analysis. Actors will work with a variety of texts and exercises to apply learned techniques. This course will culminate in a final workshop and performance.

  • Auditioning for Adults (Ages 18+; for serious beginners on up)
    WHEN: November 5 to December 17 (Saturdays, from 10 AM to Noon) (no class November 25)
    WHERE:
    Everyman Theatre, 1727 N. Charles Street, Baltimore
    INSTRUCTOR:
    Everyman Casting Director, Kyle Prue

    A fun, supportive class designed to help the dedicated actor navigate the business and perform with confidence in a variety of audition situations. Learn about the psychology of the audition process, work on monologues, prepare assigned text and discover strategies for approaching the cold reading that will help calm the nerves and allow your talent to shine!
