M.I.C.A. EXHIBITS WORKS BY STUDENTS IN M.A. & CONTINUING ED PROGRAMS

molly_campbell_maae10_2During their two summer studio residencies and online studio experiences in the MAAE program, students have developed a conceptually related body of work that investigates a chosen issue of deep personal interest.

The M.A. in Art Education Exhibition presents the results of these visual investigations. The art in this exhibition is complemented by the research investigations MAAE candidates—who are also full-time art educators—have conducted about their students’ artmaking processes. These completed research studies are also on exhibition. This exhibition is a glimpse into the work of students who expand their artmaking with classes in MICA’s continuing studies program. The exhibition includes drawing, painting, sculpture, graphic design, jewelry and ceramics.

Hours for MICA’s galleries, which are free and open to the public, are Mondays–Saturdays, 10 AM–5 PM, and Sundays, noon–5 PM. They are closed on major holidays.
