The Goucher College Summer Arts Institute will present a series of concerts featuring local artists and dance companies and Goucher faculty members.

The annual two-week arts institute for students ages 12-18 was created to expose young artists to the professional art world through instruction, workshops and performances. This year the institute invites the public to share in these performances.
Percussion & Computer Music Faculty Concert
WHEN: Wednesday, July 20, at 7:30 PM
TICKETS: $10 and are available at the Goucher College Box Office in the Rosenberg Gallery starting one hour before the show
The concert will feature a variety of performances, including works by former Breaking Benjamin drummer Jeremy Hummel, Afro-Cuban rhythms by Orlando Cotto, a fusion of frame drum music by N. Scott Robinson and steel drum music by Jonathan Scales.
The Navy Commodores Jazz Ensemble
Jazz, big band, and original compositions

TICKETS: This concert is free.
Second Annual Collective Dance Showcase
WHEN: Friday, July 22, at 8 PM
TICKETS: $15 for general admission and $10 for students and seniors with ID. Tickets are available at the door, but they can also be reserved by e-mailing Angelica Daniele, concert coordinator, at firstname.lastname@example.org. The showcase will feature performances by Baltimore-based dance companies, artists, and Goucher alumni.
