Do You Just LUV to Dance? How about dancing in a "flash mob”?

dance attack

Dance Baltimore has been asked to join Baltimore's biggest celebration of the arts, Artscape!

Once again, they will present a unique outdoor event called a "Dance Attack," a spontaneous dance in the middle of a crowded location. (Some call it a "flash mob" and post on YouTube.)

Four classes/rehearsals have been scheduled to teach the dance to anyone, ANYONE, who wants to participate, but it should only take ONE to learn and perfect the steps.

CLASSES: Tuesday, June 21, 6-7:15 PM; Sunday, June 26, 2-3:15 PM; Tuesday, July 5, 6-7:15 PM; Tuesday, July 12, 6-7:15 PM
WHERE: The Eubie Blake Cultural Center, 847 N Howard Street

(Space is limited at each rehearsal; e-mail to pre-register)

ADMISSION: There is no fee, but participants are asked to make a pay-what-you-can donation.

WHO: Men, women, teens, all backgrounds, sizes and experience level. ALL are welcome. (Minimum age is 10 years)

Dance Baltimore is looking for a minimum of thirty (30) dancers but would love to get as many as 50! They will present the "dance attack" several times during the three-day Artscape event. More details to be forwarded to those interested at each class. Let Dance Baltimore know if you'd like to dance at this major national arts celebration. Thanks!
