What a fantastic summer it's going to be! Join CSC at the picturesque ruins of the PFI Historic Park in Ellicott City for Shakespeare under the stars. Chesapeake Shakespeare Company-in-the-Ruins has become the region's most popular outdoor Shakespeare experience.

WHEN: The season starts June 10 with A Midsummer Night's Dream and Complete Works begins alternating performances with Midsummer on June 24.

A Midsummer Night's Dream will please both the ear and the eye of audiences members of all ages (kids are free again this year!). Founding Artistic Director Ian Gallanar's production will be a carnival of fun for Shakespeare's magical tale of human lovers and dopey actors (yup, there's a guy in a dress) distracted and distraught in Fairyland.

The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (abridged) is a perfect spoof for both lovers and haters of Shakespeare. CSC Associate Director Scott Alan Small goofs on the Bard in this hilarious romp (yup, there's a guy in a dress) that covers every one of Shakespeare's plays.

See one show or get a terrific discount when you see both. As always, you can purchase tickets to either or both shows. Bring a picnic and a bottle of wine and enjoy the summer and Shakespeare under the stars with your friends and neighbors. They expect this summer to be their most popular yet—and with tables for two, Kloby's Smokehouse food truck on site and, as always, plenty of special events like Faerie Weekend, preshow entertainment in the form of the "Show Before The Show," tickets will go fast. Bring your kids to a family-friendly Sunday performance or bring a bottle of champagne for our fun formal Friday
