BALTIMORE AREA VETERANS & FAMILIES TELL THEIR STORIES @ TOWSON UNIVERSITY THIS FRIDAY & SATURDAY

(Information about this event was sent to us by a reader.) In light of this morning’s news about the death of Osama bin Ladin at the hands of American troops, let us not forget our brave soldiers in Afghanistan and Iraq. Here is a dramatic way to do it. This program is at Towson University.

Telling: Baltimore, MD brings the Towson University Veterans Center, Baltimore's Veteran Artist Program and the nationally known Telling Project together for an original, full-length performance featuring military veterans and family members of the Baltimore and Towson communities.

Touted by David Dower of the Arena Stage, as having, "the potential to radically re-define the idea of the military in the American consciousness," Telling: Baltimore, MD is a play both written directly from the experiences of Baltimore veterans and family members, and performed by these same people.
Raw, unmediated and frank, Telling: Baltimore, MD contains themes of war and mature language, and is not recommended for children.

Telling: Baltimore, MD is an opportunity for Baltimore's military families to speak, and for Baltimore to listen.

TICKETS: $10 adults, $5 students
